Job summary

Nikkiso Cryogenic Services is seeking an Engineering Intern to support technical analysis, inspections, and documentation for cryogenic pump systems at the Houston Service Center. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Service, and Repair teams on process improvements and project work.

The role offers hands-on experience with cryogenic equipment, rotating machinery, and manufacturing/repair processes while emphasizing safety and quality in a dynamic service environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Junior or Senior standing preferred.
• Prior internship, co‑op, lab or hands‑on experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD, data analysis, or mechanical equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with evaluations, inspections, and troubleshooting of cryogenic pumps and related equipment.
• Support review of equipment received at the Houston Service Center for repair/overhaul.
• Collect and analyze technical data and prepare documentation and reports.
• Review drawings, specifications, manuals, and other technical documents.
• Assist with development and maintenance of standard work instructions and procedures.
• Support root-cause analysis and investigation of equipment failures or performance issues.
• Help with measurements, dimensional inspections, and verification of components.
