Aufgaben

• Run sample preparation, cryo-FIB milling, and imaging for facility users and projects.
• Operate, maintain, and configure cryo-FIB/SEM systems and cryo microscopes.
• Collect and organize imaging data and keep daily instrument-use records.
• Judge image quality and know when to re-run or adjust parameters.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and technique issues per SOPs.
• Consult with researchers on experimental design and feasibility.
• Build or adapt protocols for new projects across prep, milling, imaging, and data correlation.
• Review literature and implement new ideas to enhance facility methods.
• Train users and staff on cryo-FIB, cryo-CLEM, and prep workflows.
