Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years research experience with cryo workflows or related techniques.
• Hands-on experience with cryo-FIB/SEM or cryo-EM sample preparation required.
• Master’s degree or higher in biology, biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry, engineering, microscopy, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Run sample preparation, cryo-FIB milling, and imaging for facility users and collaborators.
• Operate, maintain, and configure cryo-FIB/SEM systems, cryo light microscopes, and related equipment.
• Collect and organize imaging data, keep daily records of instrument use and performance.
• Judge image/ milled sample quality and adjust protocols as needed.
• Train users and staff on cryo-FIB, cryo-CLEM, and sample prep workflows.
