Job summary

Power Equipment Co. is seeking a skilled Crushing and Screening Heavy Equipment Field Technician for the Kingsport, TN branch.

You will perform repairs from minor leaks to complete overhauls on mobile and stationary equipment, including calibration and setup of crushers and screens at client sites. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of experience, a technical degree, and strong diagnostic, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical degree or comparable preferred.
• Military training is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years with crushing & screening equipment in recycling/quarry/mining.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and diagnose failures.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machines; order parts.
• Set up and calibrate crushers and screens at sites.
• Travel to jobsites and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Operate company vehicle and support vendor trainings as needed.
