Job Description

General Description:

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and cleaning of the crushing facility and related equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Reduce in size the slag material recovered from the main plant oversize screen and incoming loads from approved source material suppliers.
2. Maintain the crushing plant in a safe and efficient manner.
3. Perform mechanical repairs as needed.
4. Perform clean-up duties as required.
5. Recover metallics from the picking conveyor and place them in the proper location. Remove rubbish from slag prior to crushing.
6. Record weights of recovered metallics and report to the office assistant (Form C4-10-2).

7. Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Skills and Experience: Basic mechanical, welding, burning, and hydraulic experience. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
