Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Maintenance Operator for its aggregates operations in the United States. The role involves ensuring safety standards, collaborating to optimize plant performance, and maintaining records of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include lubrication, component replacement, inspection, and routine repairs on crushers, screens, and conveyors. Will train to operate the production plant and may fill in as Haul Truck Operator as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed.
• Collaborate to optimize plant operations.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities.
• Observe machinery to locate trouble causes.
• Lubricate bearings and change parts in crushers, screens, and conveyors.
• Repair and maintain crushing and screening equipment.
• Test operation of equipment and identify issues.
• Maintain plant area to prevent product spillage.
• Inspect failed parts and report repairs.
• Grease bearings as specified.
• Install and replace bearings, shafts, motors, belts, and related parts.
• Perform general repairs and routine maintenance.
• Fill in as Haul Truck Operator when needed.
• Train to operate the production plant.
