Job summary

ASMG is seeking a Crusher Utility Laborer to support daily crushing plant operations, maintain a safe work area, assist with equipment operation, and perform cleanup. The role requires strict adherence to safety rules, use of PPE, and effective communication with foremen about plant conditions.

Responsibilities include monitoring material flow, performing routine maintenance, and helping with repairs during shutdowns. Lifting up to 50 pounds and travel may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary:

Essential Functions:

• Adherestoallsafetyrules,wearsproperPPEandworkssafelyonalljobs
• Assistinthedailyoperationofdesignatedcrusherplantequipment.
• Performpreventativemaintenanceontheplant;
• Performroutinecleanuparoundconveyors,screens,crushers,andworkareas.
• Removeblockagesandspilledmaterialsusingpropersafetyprocedures.

• Monitormaterialflowandreportequipmentissues.
• Assistmaintenancepersonnelduringrepairsandshutdowns.
• Inspectbelts,guards,rollers,andsurroundingareasforhazards.

• Operateskidsteer,loader,orothersupportequipmentifqualified.
• Maintainhousekeepingstandardsinallplantareas.
• Communicatewithoperatorsandsupervisorsregardingplantconditions.
• ReportimmediatelytoForemananydamagetotheequipmentorsafetyhazardsoraccidents.
• Mustbeabletoconsistentlyliftand/ormanipulatewithpush/pullforce+/-50pounds.
• Flexibilitywithregardtoschedule,workingearlyand/orextendedhours,weekends,andholidayswhenrequired.
• Whileperformingthedutiesofthispositiontheincumbentisregularlyrequiredtostandforupto10-12hours(restbreaksasrequiredbylawwillbeprovided),usehands,handleorfeel,reachwithhandsandarms,talk,hear,see,walk,climbstairs,ladders,andcatwalks,stoop,bend,twist,kneelandcrouch.

Work Conditions:

Incumbentmustbeabletotoleratemoderatetoloudnoiselevel(PPEwillbeprovided,includinghearingprotectionasrequired),longhoursstanding,walking,andlaboringoutdoorsinvaryingweatherconditions-frequentlyinextremeheat.

Position Requirements:

Highschooldiplomaorequivalentpreferred.Experienceinaggregate,mining,construction,orindustrialoperationsandpreferred.Strongmechanicalability,weldingandcuttingexperience,andcomputerproficiencyareaplus.Equipmentoperationexperienceisaplus.Mustbemotivatedandabletohandlemultipleprojectswithlittlesupervisioninanextremelyfastpacedenvironment.Excellentorganizational,analytical,interpersonal,andcommunicationskills.Willberequiredtotravelandpassaphysicalanddrugscreen.
