Job summary

Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, is seeking a Crusher Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair crushing and screening equipment for aggregate production. The role emphasizes safety, uptime, and efficient operation in a heavy equipment environment.

The ideal candidate brings mechanical aptitude, experience with crushers, and familiarity with CMMS and maintenance records. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years of crusher maintenance or heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Prior experience with crushing and screening equipment (jaw, cone, impact crushers) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform timely repairs.
• Replace wear parts such as liners, belts, bearings, rollers, and screens.
• Conduct daily inspections and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and inspection logs.
• Follow MSHA safety policies and use proper lockout/tagout procedures.
• Assist plant startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Perform basic to advanced welding and fabrication as needed.
• Identify and order replacement parts; manage inventory levels.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices.
