Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to operate and repair conveyor and crushing equipment at our Utah site.

You will inspect, repair, and rebuild machinery, weld components, and interpret blueprints to ensure safe, efficient operation. Strong reading skills, attention to detail, and DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must have welding certifications and DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain conveyor and crushing equipment.
• Analyze malfunctions and perform repairs and rebuilds.
• Inspect parts for damage or wear; replace as needed.

Position Overview

This is a skilled position involving maintenance and operation of company conveyor and crushing equipment.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions)

• Thorough mechanical knowledge of crusher and related equipment.
• Analyzes malfunctions and repairs and rebuilds conveyors and crushing equipment.
• Examines parts for damage or excessive wear.
• Welds broken parts and structural members and other items as necessary using stick welding processes.
• Knowledge of layout according to blueprints.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability
