Walbec Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support quarry operations across several Wisconsin locations. You will operate the processing plant equipment and loaders to produce aggregate and construction materials, while helping with stockpiles and load-out of finished products.

The role emphasizes safe, productive operation, routine maintenance, and collaboration with Foreman and Mine Management to resolve site issues.

Qualifications

• Operate equipment safely and productively.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant site issues with Foreman and Mine Management during daily inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders, skid steers, and other equipment safely and efficiently to feed the processing plant.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site, including shoveling and skid steer work.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including basic labor, cutting, fabricating and welding as needed.
• Follow proper safety procedures and incident reporting.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Quarry operations include maintaining and operating the processing plant, (crushers, screens, wash-plants) operating loaders to feed the processing plant and assisting in the stockpile and load-out of finished product. Crush/wash Operators are responsible for operating several types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
