Hermes Recruitment seeks a Pastry Chef for cruise ships in Miami, FL. You will operate the pastry section, collaborate with the Executive and Sous Chefs, plan production, and develop seasonal offerings to maintain quality and presentation across menus.

Responsibilities include daily meal prep, stocking pastry inventory, ensuring HACCP standards, assisting with ordering, and maintaining cleanliness. A hospitality background and fluent English are preferred; accommodation and meals are provided

Qualificações

• Fluently spoken English
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Hospitality degree will be considered an advantage

Responsabilidades

• Preparation and distribution of all daily meals
• Responsible for a kitchen section
• Co-responsible for achieving and maintaining the company's standards and budgets
• Assistance to the Executive Chef in ordering food supplies
• Co-responsible for proper storing of food, kitchen supplies and stock
• Co-responsible for impeccable cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness
• Co-responsible for meeting the HACCP standards
• Assistance with undertaking inventories as per company's directives
• Participation in training programs
• A regular presence in the restaurant at the buffets
