Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks Housekeepers for the 2026 season to join our shipboard hotel team. This temporary role runs up to 28 weeks onboard, with weekly wages ranging from $1,000 to $1,400 plus bonuses. Major living expenses are covered aboard, including travel, room and board, uniforms, and training.

You will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, assist with embarkation, and participate in special events as needed on multiple itineraries across the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required for shipboard employees.
• Alcohol use restricted while on duty and in training.
• Grooming standards apply; temporary 28-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests.
• Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas.
• Acknowledge guests by name and respond to housekeeping requests per standards.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; manage inventory and supplies.
• Clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces; handle spills and maintenance requests.
• Assist with embarkation greetings and special events when required.
