Job summary

V.Group (V.Ships) seeks experienced Engine Repairmen for cruise vessels, including CRYSTAL SERENITY. You will perform daily engine and mechanical equipment maintenance to ensure reliable vessel operation.

Applicants must hold STCW 95, ASE A-III/5, and have strong engine-room knowledge; ability to work in a multicultural crew is essential. This role is based aboard ships with rotation contracts and Safety-first standards.

Qualifications

• Valid STCW 95 certification.
• Valid ASE Certification A-III/5.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, operation and maintenance of vessel machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with stripping engines down and rebuilding.
• Experience on vessels in an equivalent position.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Moral integrity is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily maintenance and cleaning of engines and mechanical equipment as directed by the Engineer in charge.
• Follow maintenance procedures and safety rules on board.
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed.
• Report findings to the Staff Engineer and on-duty Engineer.
• Participate in crew safety drills and comply with safety regulations.
