Job summary
Royal Caribbean Group seeks an experienced Master of Ceremonies/DJ to energize lounges and nightclubs aboard our vessels. You will operate a range of music, lighting, and video gear to mix genres from classic Top 40 to Latin and disco, driving guest engagement and revenue opportunities.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of professional DJ or MC experience in resort or cruise environments, strong hosting skills, and proficiency with MS Office and basic computer/network use for schedule and event
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional DJ/MC experience with ability to engage an audience
- MC/hosting experience in resorts, cruise lines, entertainment or recreational industries preferred
- Strong knowledge of diverse music genres including Top 40, Latin, disco, reggae, classic rock
- Knowledge of current music trends and audience needs
- Ability to operate audio and lighting equipment and video playback systems
- Customer service aligned with Royal Caribbean International’s standards when interacting with guests and coworkers
Responsibilities
- Serve as master of ceremonies in lounges or nightclubs aboard the vessel.
- Operate music, lighting and video equipment.
- Mix and project a blend of dance music and video clips for varied categories.
