Job summary

ISMIRA Agency seeks Selection Waiters for ASTORIA GRANDE cruise ships to join a multinational team delivering top-tier guest services at sea. You will operate onboard across ports along the Black, Aegean, Marmara and Mediterranean seas, starting from Sochi.

The role offers a 6–7 month rotation with meals and accommodation provided, and a ticket paid by the employer. Salary is paid in euros with bonuses/tips. Russian fluency is mandatory; English proficiency varies by position.

Qualifications

Must have STCW certificates and seafarer's passport.
Fluency in Russian is mandatory; English proficiency depends on position.
5+ years progressive management experience in upscale hotel or cruise ship in food & beverage as a Waiter.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; superior customer service.
Ability to work well under pressure in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by delivering quality services within standards.
Maintain effective internal communications and regular departmental meetings.
Coordinate with sub-hotel, deck and technical departments for smooth operation.
Manage inventory of silverware, chinaware, glassware, linen and equipment.
Assist in restaurant setup and mise-en-place for the Selection restaurant.
Ensure proper wine service practices and timely delivery.
Address guests' dietary requirements and ensure compliance with them.
Adhere to SHIP-SAN standards and proper waste handling procedures.
Ensure guest and staff safety through emergency procedures.
