Job summary

Genesis Energy, LLC is seeking a professional CDL driver to safely transport crude oil from the field to pipeline injection point or refinery along the Gulf Coast. You will operate an 18-wheel tractor/cargo tank and manage valve actions, tank gauging, and on-board testing.

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL with Tank and HazMat (X), pass DOT medical and drug/alcohol screenings, and have 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience. TWIC card is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tank and HazMat endorsements (X).
• Must pass DOT medical exam and DOT drug/alcohol screenings.
• Two+ years of verifiable tractor/semi-trailer driving experience preferred.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate 18-wheel tractor/cargo tank to transport crude oil.
• Open/close valves and gauge volume in storage tanks.
• Test product using on-board centrifuge and record results.
• Record volume and load/unload activity for tickets and payroll.
• Prepare Daily Driver Report and related paperwork.
• Inspect truck, tires, tank, and surroundings for safety.
• Report hauled volume for accounting and safety compliance.
• Participate in and promote safety programs.
