Job summary

Genesis Energy, LLC is seeking a professional truck driver to safely transport crude oil to pipeline injections and refineries. You will operate an 18-wheel tractor/cargo tank, perform valve operations, and ensure all safety checks are completed.

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL with Tank and HazMat endorsements, pass DOT medical and drug tests, meet experience requirements, and be able to read and speak fluent English. TWIC preferred and safety protocols are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid class A CDL with Tank and HazMat endorsements (X).
• Must pass a pre-employment DOT medical exam.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
• Must possess a driving record with no more than two moving violations in the previous 3 years.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two plus years of verifiable tractor/semi-trailer driving experience preferred.
• TWIC card preferred.
• This position is Safety Sensitive and subject to pre-employment and random DOT drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate an 18-wheel tractor/cargo tank to transport crude oil from the field to pipeline injection point or refinery.
• Open and close required valves to allow product to flow in or out of the trailer and gauge volume in tanks.
• Test product using onboard oil centrifuge and record test results.
• Record volume and load/unload activity for accounting and payroll.
• Inspect truck, tires, and tank for safety and regulatory compliance; report issues as needed.
• Prepare driver’s Daily Report and other required paperwork.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety programs.
