Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) PRN to support our patients with compassionate, expert care. You will assess respiratory needs, develop and implement care plans, and work with a supportive team to achieve excellent outcomes.

Formal requirements include a Florida CRT license, AMA/technical degree, BLS; ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months. This PRN role involves ventilator management and bedside procedures across age groups.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Current Florida State License (CRT)
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Application and operation of acute care ventilators for short and long-term ventilation.
• Self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
• Maintain department and hospital records and enter information into the hospital computer.
• Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages.
