Job summary

Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join the Cardiopulmonary team. This full-time night-shift position offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities to contribute to patient assessment, diagnosis and therapy in a hospital setting.

The role requires an Arkansas respiratory license, NBRC registration or eligibility, BLS, and a AMA-approved respiratory therapy program. 1 year acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• 1 year acute care experience.
• Current Arkansas Respiratory License in good standing; NBRC registered or eligible; BLS required.
• Preferred: Associate degree, ACLS, ACCS, PALS, NRP.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Respiratory Therapy equipment for patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease.
• Provide care in a hospital setting for inpatients and outpatients.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and documentation standards in Allied Health.

SUMMARY:

Responsible and accountable for the set up and operation of various types of Respiratory Therapy equipment to be utilized in patient assessment, diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program.

Experience: 1 year acute care experience

License/Certification: Current Arkansas Respiratory License in good standing. Registered by the NBRC or eligible by being a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program. BLS required.

Preferred Education: Associates Degree, ACLS certification, ACCS certification, PALS, NRP
