Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare seeks a Certified Recovery Specialist Supervisor to lead the Recovery Support Services team and mentor CRS staff. The role includes scheduling, training, evaluations, and ensuring ethical practice while guiding client recovery plans.

The supervisor will manage interventions, crisis referrals, and adherence to confidentiality rules, contributing to Pyramid Healthcare’s mission of comprehensive behavioral health care.

Qualifications

  • Current Certification through Pennsylvania Certification Board for Certified Recovery Specialist.
  • High diploma or equivalent; 1 year supervisory experience or 2 years related work in drug & alcohol treatment setting.
  • Behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises CRS and provides feedback on performance.
  • Orients and trains new staff to RSS program and facility programs.
  • Assists with interviewing and hiring CRS staff.
  • Assists with employee disciplinary actions.
  • Develops employee schedules and trainings.
  • Conducts employee performance evaluations.
  • Assists with client interventions and recovery plans.
  • Identifies emergencies and facilitates access to resources.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to laws and regulations.
  • Attends staff and leadership meetings and completes trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pyramid Healthcare's Recovery Support Services Division is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist Supervisor. Certified Recovery Specialists' role is to support others in recovery from substance use disorder. The Recovery Specialist Supervisor will serve as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery. Pyramid Healthcare does offer Center of Excellence Services (specific to Opioid Use Disorder) and traditional Certified Recovery Specialist services.

Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00-4:30pm (shift can vary based on individual served needs)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Supervises CRS and provides feedback on their performance.
  • Orients and Trains new staff to RSS program as well as facility programs
  • Assists with Interviewing and Hiring Certified Recovery Support staff.
  • Assists with employee disciplinary actions.
  • Develops employee schedule and schedules their trainings as needed.
  • Conducts employee performance evaluations.
  • Assists with interventions with clients.
  • Follows objectives of recovery plans.
  • Identify emergency or crisis situations and facilitate access to appropriate resources, negotiating and connecting individuals with resources and navigating the systems
  • Conduct self in an ethical manner by adhering to the Pennsylvania Certification Board standards of practice.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding information received during the facilitation of recovery support services. maintain current understanding of federal, state and local confidentiality rules and regulations.
  • Attends weekly staff meetings, leadership meetings, region meetings, and any facility meetings as requested.
  • Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.
  • Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide training and day-to-day guidance to the CRS team.

Required Qualifications
Licensure, Education, & Experience
  • Current Certification through Pennsylvania Certification Board for Certified Recovery Specialist
  • High diploma or equivalent 1 year of work supervisory experience or 2 years related work experience in a drug & alcohol treatment setting
  • Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience
