Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist to provide recovery-oriented support to individuals in behavioral health and substance use treatment services. You will use lived experience to help clients connect with resources, build long-term recovery supports, and stay engaged across the treatment continuum.

This role requires weekend availability, works 12:00pm–8:00pm, and pays $18/hr. Join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to compassionate care and client-centered outcomes in

Qualifications

  • Active CPRS certification and billable services compliance.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • CPRS certification active and verified prior to billable services.
  • Experience in a substance abuse treatment facility preferred.
  • Direct peer support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide peer support services using lived experience to support client recovery and engagement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to support client care and recovery planning.
  • Assist clients in establishing connections with community resources and ongoing support systems.
  • Maintain regular contact with referral sources as directed.
  • Prepare and complete concurrent reviews and communications with referral sources as assigned.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation of all client and collateral contacts in the medical record.
  • Participate in peer record review processes and quality assurance activities.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff across all disciplines.
  • Keep supervisor informed of client progress, concerns, and service needs.
  • Provide transportation for clients to access community resources and services as needed.
  • Participate in emergency service coverage including after-hours and crisis planning.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company information.
  • Complete required trainings and accreditation/licensing requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Summary

The Certified Recovery Specialist provides recovery-oriented support to individuals engaged in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services. This role utilizes lived experience to assist clients in building connections to community resources, developing long-term recovery supports, and maintaining engagement throughout the treatment continuum. The Certified Recovery Specialist collaborates with the multidisciplinary treatment team to promote recovery, improve outcomes, and support clients before, during, and after treatment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide peer support services utilizing lived experience to support client recovery and engagement.

  • Participate in emergency service coverage as assigned, including after-hours support, crisis planning, hospital diversion, and commitment procedures.
  • Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information
  • Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education, Licensure, & Experience:

  • This role is designated as billable. Employees in this position are expected to provide and document billable services in accordance with state regulations. All required licensure and/or certification must be active and verified prior to performing any billable services.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current CPRS certification
  • One year of work experience in a substance abuse treatment facility preferred
  • One year of direct peer support experience preferred
