Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a CrowdStrike Engineer / Endpoint Security Engineer for a hybrid role in Coppell, TX. The engineer will deploy, monitor, and optimize CrowdStrike Falcon across endpoints, servers, VDI, and mobile devices while coordinating upgrades and migrations of legacy security tools.

The role requires 5+ years of CrowdStrike/endpoint security experience, strong Windows/macOS/Linux knowledge, and familiarity with Entra ID and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of dedicated CrowdStrike and endpoint security engineering experience.
• Hands-on with CrowdStrike Falcon modules and Windows/macOS/Linux endpoints.
• Familiarity with SaaS security controls, Entra ID, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Certification such as CISSP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate the CrowdStrike Falcon ecosystem (EDR, NGAV, Firewall, Identity Protection, Falcon for Mobile).
• Ensure endpoint coverage, policy consistency, and sensor health across devices and servers.
• Migrate and decommission legacy tools to modern security capabilities.
• Operate and maintain Symantec DLP Prevent, with policy enforcement and health checks.
• Enable telemetry into SIEM/SOAR, support detection and incident response.
• Identify automation opportunities and write scripts, APIs, and IaC workflows.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to align security improvements with standards and maintain documentation.
