Job summary

Tekgence Inc. seeks a CrowdStrike Engineer to conduct comprehensive audits of the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, analyze configurations, and implement improvements to strengthen endpoint security across Windows, macOS, Linux and cloud environments.

You will own platform management duties, deploy and monitor sensors, configure prevention policies, and collaborate with Security Analysts and IT teams to resolve endpoint incidents and maintain up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

• Extensive Cyber and IT security knowledge.
• Expert-level knowledge of the CrowdStrike EDR platform and best practices.
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux operating systems and security features.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining CrowdStrike in a large enterprise environment.
• Experience with cloud hosted endpoints.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and host-based firewalls.
• Experience with documentation of processes and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Audit the CrowdStrike Falcon console, including policy configurations and sensor deployments.
• Generate detailed reports outlining findings, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
• Support the implementation of recommended changes and monitor their impact.
• Develop and document processes to maintain the CrowdStrike platform.
• Own the installation, implementation, maintenance, administration, availability, and performance of all CrowdStrike Falcon components.
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, and health of Falcon sensors across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments; troubleshoot sensor installation and communication issues.
• Configure and manage deployment of prevention policy settings; provide end-user support through the help desk.
• Collaborate with Security Analysts and Incident Responders to ensure platform effectiveness for threat detection, investigation, and response.
• Create and maintain documentation for CrowdStrike configuration, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate within the Endpoint team to resolve EDR tickets and share knowledge; ensure timely resolution of endpoint-related issues.
• Work with IT, Network, and System Administration teams to integrate security solutions into the IT infrastructure.
