Job Title: Crossroads Students Director of Experiences

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Oakley)

Status: Full time (exempt)

Job Summary

This role leads a team responsible for delivering high-quality, creatively immersive experiences for students each week, as well as organizing impactful events that help students grow in their relationship with God. The individual ensures that all weekly gatherings and events meet Crossroads' standards for excellence and align with its mission to advance God’s kingdom in the lives of students.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own the creation of the student weekly experience at sites, ensuring alignment with Crossroads Students’ overall mission, vision, and goals.
  • Oversee the RESI stream from the Crossroads Students broadcast sites to other locations.
  • Design and create immersive environments and experiences that facilitate student transformation through God’s truth and presence.
  • Facilitate and collaborate with the Crossroads Students teaching team to deliver impactful messages.
  • Partner with Crossroads Students Worship teams to create powerful, engaging worship experiences that inspire students to encounter God.
  • Oversee the production of momentum-building, high-invite student events such as Move-Up weekends, Summer Kick-Off, Friendsgiving, Back-to-School Bash, YTH nights, Summer Camp and The Big Night.
  • Work closely with site teams to ensure technical elements are clearly understood and executed with excellence.
  • Become an expert in Crossroads Voice, ensuring that all events are true to Crossroads Voice.
  • Effectively communicate the mission by providing context and story behind experience objectives and target audience.
  • Identify and develop leadership and talent within Crossroads Students and for the broader church.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent use of Crossroads Students’ culture components, including mission, vision, target audience, language, and branding.
  • Fulfill office hours as well as various evenings and weekends for event execution and ministry needs.
  • Carry out additional tasks and assignments as required.


Job Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience/ Skills Requirements:
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Organized, disciplined with priorities, meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Google web platform and willingness to learn other software tools as needed.
  • Experience with Mac/PC, and Internet.

Physical Requirements:

  • Performs effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints.
  • Must be able to walk up to 5 miles, standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, and stooping as duties required.
  • Must be able to lift up 25 to 75 lbs.


Scheduling / Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends and other high impact events at Crossroads Students; willing to travel to all student ministry sites as needed.
