Job summary

The Watertown Police Department is seeking part-time Crossing Guards to help children cross streets safely as they travel to and from school. The role requires strong attention to crossing risks and reliable attendance.

Interested individuals must be able to pass a background check. The posted rate of pay is $11.25 per hour, with shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, including morning, afternoon, substitute and variable positions during the school year.

• Assist students in crossing streets safely during school hours.

• Maintain vigilance at crossings and report hazards.

The Watertown Police Department is proud to support the Crossing Guard needs for the community of Watertown. Our Adult School Crossing Guards ensure the safety of children crossing the streets as they proceed to & from school.
