Allendale Public Schools is seeking a school crossing guard to assist students with safely crossing busy roads during before and after school times, approximately 7:00–9:00 am and 2:30–4:00 pm daily.
The position requires a reliable, outdoor-capable individual who can maintain vigilance, follow directions, wear provided PPE and uniforms, and attend regularly.

Work Environment:The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate but distractions can be frequent due to building traffic.
Mental Functions:Must maintain constant vigil and cognitive awareness of student activity and environmental hazards in a high-stimulus setting. Ability to maintain professional composure and exercise sound judgment during stressful or emergency situations, including student outbursts or mechanical failures.
