Job summary
Google in Sunnyvale seeks a Program Manager and Solutions Engineer to support the Cross-Product Area (xPA) program. You will own the operational infrastructure for cross-functional workflows enabling scaled pre-launch testing of Google products and AI features.
You will develop technical analysis, tools, and processes that advance research, engineering execution, and velocity, balancing speed with long-term resilience in a dynamic tooling landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- 6 years of experience coding in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners and program management within a technical organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex program charters by defining scope, OKRs, and resourcing with data-driven insights.
- Strategize with cross-functional partners to align objectives and communication plans.
- Implement scalable tooling to integrate user-centric insights into the development lifecycle.
- Evaluate engineering feasibility, milestones, and resourcing for technical initiatives.
- Lead organizational pivots and change management to mitigate risks and unblock obstacles.
