The role may require early mornings, nights and weekends; you will work with editors and reporters to maximize engagement across platforms using WordPress, Premiere, Photoshop and AP ENPS.

Qualifications

• Two years of journalism experience including TV or digital news.
• Ability to be fast and first at breaking news; weather coverage a plus.
• Strong news writing for both digital and broadcast.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to make fast decisions.
• Proficient in AP Style and newsroom software.

Responsibilities

• Create content for TV, streaming, website and social platforms.
• Edit and clip video for multiple distribution channels.
• Produce breaking news content, push alerts and online articles.
• Use analytics to review past work and guide decisions.
• Collaborate with newsroom staff to promote coverage across platforms.
