Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Manager of Process Improvement in Bentonville, AR to identify and lead systemic process enhancements across Marketplace Risk Operations. You will guide discovery, SOP updates, and cross-functional execution to ensure clear scoping, prioritization, and measurable efficiency gains.

The role partners with Product, Change Management, and other teams to simplify processes and drive sustainable improvements that align with long-term business goals.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, project/program management, information systems, communications, or related area with 3 years’ experience.
• Option 2: 5 years’ experience in process improvement, operations, program management, risk operations, compliance operations, or related area.
• Fundamental knowledge of process design, mapping, and management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
• Analyze processes to identify gaps, root causes, and opportunities for standardization.
• Manage intake requests, conduct discovery, assess urgency and impact, and update documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align stakeholders and resolve dependencies.
• Support implementation readiness by defining requirements, handoffs, and success measures.
• Serve as a process subject matter expert on policies, tools, controls, and best practices.
• Evaluate changes using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
