Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a tire handler to unload and load tires at the cross dock and to deliver and pick up tires from our stores. The role runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m.

to 1:30 p.m., with some Saturdays during busy times and overtime opportunities available. Responsibilities include operating with a Box Truck and a 20' enclosed trailer, using a Tire Storage Program app, and maintaining safety while handling heavy loads in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License and meet insurance requirements.
• Willing to learn to drive a Box Truck and 20' trailer.
• Must be able to use a computer and phone app for Tire Storage Program.
• Willing to get forklift certification.
• Minimum 18 years of age.

Responsabilités

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for unloading and loading tires received at the Cross Dock and is also responsible for delivering and picking up tires from our stores. Monday - Friday, 5am - 1:30pm, some Saturdays may be required during busy times; Overtime opportunities available

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid Driver's License and and meet our insurance requirements
• Willing to learn to drive a Box Truck and Pickup truck with a 20' enclosed trailer
• Must be able to use a computer and phone app for the Tire Storage Program
• Willing to get fork-lift certified
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised
• Frequent squatting, bending, twisting, reaching and continuous standing and walking
• Frequent lifting of up to 70 pounds with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds
• This work is performed in all weather conditions
