Job summary

Advatix, Inc. in partnership with HRforGrowth is seeking a Cross Dock Forklift Operator to efficiently load, unload, and move freight in a cross-dock environment.

You will operate forklifts to handle palletized goods, verify shipments, and keep work areas safe and organized. The role requires a valid forklift certification, a High School Diploma or GED (or 3 years warehouse experience), ability to read instructions in English, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse/cross-dock environment.
• High School Diploma or GED or three years of relevant warehouse experience required.
• Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload products from trucks, containers, and pallets.
• Transfer goods to and from cross-dock areas, storage zones, and transportation vehicles.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Verify shipments against delivery documents and ensure accuracy of quantities and descriptions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety policies and procedures.
