HRforGrowth is assisting a client in New Jersey to hire a Cross Dock Forklift Operator. The role involves loading, unloading, and moving freight in a cross-dock setting using forklifts with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Candidates should hold a valid forklift certification, have warehouse or cross-dock experience, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Strong English literacy, teamwork, and safety mindset are required to succeed.

Competenze

• Valid forklift operator certification/license required.
• Experience operating forklifts in warehouse/cross-dock setting.
• High School Diploma or GED or 3 years relevant warehouse experience.
• Must read and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Able to operate Electric Pallet Jack Trucks.

Mansioni

• Safely operate forklifts to load/unload products from trucks and pallets.
• Move goods to cross-dock areas and storage zones.
• Inspect forklifts and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Verify shipments against delivery documents.
• Secure and stabilize loads to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety policies.
• Update Warehouse Management System with transactions.
• Assist with inventory check-ins and team collaboration to meet targets.
