Job summary

Advatix, Inc. is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to efficiently load, unload, and move freight within a cross-dock environment.

You will operate forklifts to handle palletized goods and ensure accurate placement between transportation vehicles and storage areas. This role requires adherence to safety policies, successful completion of routine forklift inspections, and accurate documentation of shipments in the Warehouse Management System.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or three years of relevant warehouse experience.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license required.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load/unload products from trucks, containers, and pallets.
• Transfer goods to/from cross-dock areas, storage zones and vehicles.
• Conduct routine forklift inspections and report safety issues.
• Verify shipments against documents ensuring quantity/description accuracy.
• Secure and stabilize loads to prevent damage during transfer.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and promote safety.
• Follow safety policies and company protocols during operations.
• Assist with inventory check-ins and record keeping as required.
• Update Warehouse Management System with transactions.
• Participate in daily safety checks and battery charging procedures.
• Support team to meet daily targets and customer expectations.
