Job Description

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Cross Dock Clerk Responsibilities

Maintain positive relationships and provide exemplary customer service. Receive phone inquiries/requests. Work closely with traffic department regarding scheduled shipments. Ensure accuracy of various documents, including but not limited to, Shipping documentation, Bill of Ladings, authorizations, etc. Maintain excellent company image and superior safety practices. Sort, file and maintain accurate and organized files. Generate and interpret various reports. Build and maintain relationships with external as well as internal customers. Multi task and prioritize tasks daily. Have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma required. Excellent phone skills including professional phone presence. Superb problem solving skills, with ability to interact with anxious customers and follow through quickly with problem resolution. Excellent computer skills. Prefer experience with SAP, AS400, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Duration

This is a Part Time, Monday through Friday position. Hours will be 8:30am - 2:30pm, or as business needs require. The need to support the Fredericksburg Cross Dock will be for the next 2-3 months.
