Job summary

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District invites qualified part-time faculty to join our Social/Behavioral Sciences department. The position supports teaching and advising responsibilities within the assigned courses and adheres to the college’s mission of transforming lives through learning.

Anticipated start is Spring 2027, with compensation under the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule. Applications are reviewed year-round and kept in the pool for as-needed interviews.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a listed field OR
• CC credential permitting full-time service as a Cross-Cultural Studies Instructor OR
• Equivalent qualification accepted by GCCCD

Responsibilities

• Support advancement of the colleges' visions, missions, and values in the classroom.
• Evaluate students, curriculum, and student advising as part of assignment.
• Engage in professional development and fulfill assignment-specific needs.

Education

Master’s degree in Ethnic Studies, Psychology, Women’s Studies, Behavioral Science, Human Behavior, Social Science, History or Literature
