As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing a well-stocked and well-maintained department while delivering superior customer service. Your duties include stocking and rotating products daily, maintaining all department and safety standards, and assisting customers as needed.

What is the work?

Stocking:

• Stocks and rotates items as needed
• Assists with inventory control; loads, unloads, and moves product
• Organizes, cleans, and prepares back area for the night crew and incoming trucks
• Organizes merchandise on pallets to make the department presentable
• Ensures integrity of shelf tags and signage; may create/prepare signage as needed
• Maintains standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation
• Checks shipments for out-of-date and damaged products to ensure freshness and quality
• Builds, stocks, maintains, and takes down store displays
• Performs duties of Customer Service Assistant as needed

Customer Service:

• Provides superior customer service
• Answers customer questions regarding products and assists with selections
• Helps customers locate merchandise

Sales:

• Merchandises product effectively
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and increase sales

Food Safety / Sanitation:

• Cleans and sanitizes sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment
• Properly handles and maintains all equipment
• Follows departmental SOPs and store procedures

Additional Department-Specific Responsibilities / Pre-requisites:

• Beauty: Knowledge of beauty and cosmetic aids
• Drugstore / General Merchandise: Prepares tags and signs as needed
• Grocery: Organizes, cleans, and prepares back area; prepares tags and signs
• Texas Backyard: Passion for outdoors; complete Green Thumb training
• Entertainment: Knowledge in audio/video, movies, music, electronics, and video games

Background requirements:

• Minimum age 18
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training upon hire
