Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer to secure OCI and GCP environments, enforce a unified security posture, manage identity federation, and implement centralized monitoring. The role requires coordinating with cloud engineering teams to embed secure-by-design principles and ensure compliance with VA and federal standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cloud security, 3+ years leading technical teams, and hands-on experience with vulnerability management

Qualifications

5+ years in cloud security engineering or enterprise security
Experience leading technical teams to achieve objectives
Experience configuring centralized logging and security monitoring

Responsibilities

Establish a unified security posture across GCP and OCI environments
Define guardrails configurations and baseline security controls
Manage identity federation and least-privilege access across multi-clouds
Configure centralized monitoring and integrate logs, alerts, and telemetry
Ensure VA/ federal compliance including FISMA, NIST 800-53, and VA policies
Identify vulnerabilities and remediation actions across cloud deployments
Collaborate with cloud engineering teams during design reviews and release planning
