JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The Special Education Teacher will work collaboratively with other educators, administrators, and support staff to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

• Develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and collaborative approach to student success.
• Differentiated Instruction
  • Plan and deliver differentiated instruction to address various learning styles, abilities, and disabilities within the classroom.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies and materials to engage and motivate students.
• Classroom Management
  • Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies, reinforcing positive behavior and addressing challenges promptly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Previous experience in special education teaching or related field is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of diverse learning needs and effective instructional strategies for students with disabilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
