Job summary

Hydromax USA is seeking a Crossbore Technician to support robotic CCTV inspection systems and field equipment in Houston. You will help identify underground hazards and assist in maintaining safe work zones while reporting to the Field Operations Manager.

This entry-level role offers growth into crew lead positions. Required High School Diploma/GED, willingness to work outdoors, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and pass background plus drug screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to walk 7,000–10,000 steps daily across different terrain.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50+ lbs occasionally, 10-20lbs regularly.
• Basic familiarity with smartphones, tablets and computers.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Able to travel.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Vaccination requirements per company policy ( Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, TDAP ).
• Driver qualifications: valid license and DOT medical clearance within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing, locating, and maintaining robotic inspection equipment.
• Deploy inspection equipment into pipelines using cranes or hooks.
• Set up and maintain safe work zones, including traffic control and flagging.
• Mark locations on the job site with utility marking paint.
