and cross-border M&A matters with a strong emphasis on private equity-driven transactions. The ideal candidate has substantial M&A experience, is skilled in drafting, negotiating, and communicating with clients, and can manage multiple workstreams while collaborating across offices.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of relevant M&A experience.
• Extensive experience handling complex corporate M&A transactions.
• Experience with private equity-driven transactions preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent client management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar required.
• Salary range $290,000–$420,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex U.S. and cross-border M&A transactions.
• Handle acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and related strategic transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents and agreements.
• Manage multiple workstreams throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Interact directly with clients, opposing counsel, and deal teams.
• Collaborate with attorneys across offices and practice disciplines.
• Assist with business development and building long-term client relationships.
