Job summary

EverGRO Cooperative Farm Service seeks an Applicator Crop Specialist to support agronomy operations, safely applying crop protectants, fertilizers and other products in customer fields. You will help maintain fleet vehicles, assist with blending, and ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver License and/or CDL Class A or B, with Class A preferred.
• Preferred knowledge/experience in agronomy/agriculture, seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
• Minimum 1 year experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or related products in agriculture.
• Willingness to obtain required licenses/certifications (e.g., Registered Technician, Commercial/Private Applicator License, Forklift).

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare and apply crop protectants, fertilizers and other products to customer fields.
• Support maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with transportation, blending and mixing of agronomy products.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and safety requirements when transporting, applying and blending materials.
• Cross-train to support other divisions within EverGRO as needed.

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

• Valid Commercial Driver License, Class A or B (Class A preferred)
• Preferred knowledge & experience in agronomy/agriculture, preferably with seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
• Preferred at least one (1) year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural, crop protectant or pest control environment
• Have obtained or are able & willing to obtain the following licenses/certifications;
  
  • Registered Technician OR Commercial Applicator License OR Private Applicator License
  • Forklift Certification
• Preferred high school diploma/GED equivalent
• Preferred Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with 6 months of driving experience
