Job summary

EverGRO Cooperative Farm Service is seeking an Applicator Crop Specialist to support agronomy operations, safely applying crop protectants and fertilizers in customer fields. You will assist with fleet maintenance, product blending, and transportation, while following DOT and safety regulations. Cross-training in Energy division may occur.

The ideal candidate has a CDL, knowledge in agronomy, and a willingness to obtain necessary licenses, with a commitment to safety and cooperative values.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge in agronomy/agriculture is preferred.
• Ability to obtain/maintain required licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support safe and efficient application of crop protectants and fertilizers to customer fields.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with transportation, blending and mixing of agronomy products.
• Follow all regulations for handling and transporting materials; adhere to DOT rules.
• May cross-train to support Energy division products.

• Supporting EverGRO's Agronomy Division to safely & efficiently prepare & apply custom application of various crop protectants, fertilizers & other crop products to customer fields
• Support maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles & equipment

• Safely follow all regulations for handling materials when transporting, applying & blending chemical/crop products
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, operating CMVs (commercial motor vehicles) in a safe manner at all time

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

• Valid Commercial Driver License, Class A or B (Class A preferred)
• Preferred knowledge & experience in agronomy/agriculture, preferably with seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
• Preferred at least one (1) year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural, crop protectant or pest control environment
• Have obtained or are able & willing to obtain the following licenses/certifications;
  
  • Registered Technician OR Commercial Applicator License OR Private Applicator License
  • Forklift Certification
• Preferred high school diploma/GED equivalent
• Preferred Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with 6 months of driving experience
• Dedication to safety and compliance

• A desire to learn, grow and work as a cross-functional team member with other divisions within EverGRO
