Job summary

EverGRO Cooperative Farm Service seeks an Applicator Crop Specialist to safely prepare and apply crop protectants, fertilizers and other products in customer fields. You will also support the maintenance of fleet vehicles and equipment and assist with transportation, blending and mixing of agronomy products.

The role requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), experience in agronomy or crop protection, and a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B.
• Experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other crop treatment products.
• Preferred knowledge in agronomy/agriculture and inventory of crop inputs.
• CDL Class A with 6 months driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare and apply crop protectants, fertilizers and other products to customer fields.
• Support maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with transportation, blending and mixing of agronomy products.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and operate commercial vehicles safely at all times.
• Potential cross-training to support Energy division products.

WHAT'S MY CAREER AS AN APPLICATOR CROP SPECIALIST LOOK LIKE?

• Supporting EverGRO's Agronomy Division to safely & efficiently prepare & apply custom application of various crop protectants, fertilizers & other crop products to customer fields
• Support maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles & equipment
• Assist with transportation, blending and mixing of various agronomy (crop) products
• Safely follow all regulations for handling materials when transporting, applying & blending chemical/crop products
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, operating CMVs (commercial motor vehicles) in a safe manner at all time
• May be cross trained to support Energy division products, services and deliveries

For this role, we are looking for talent that can bring to the table the following.

• Valid Commercial Driver License, Class A or B (Class A preferred)
• Preferred knowledge & experience in agronomy/agriculture, preferably with seed, chemicals, inventory, crop protectants, etc.
• Preferred at least one (1) year of experience applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other treatment products and/or working in an agricultural, crop protectant or pest control environment
• Have obtained or are able & willing to obtain the following licenses/certifications;
• Registered Technician OR Commercial Applicator License OR Private Applicator License
• Forklift Certification
• Preferred high school diploma/GED equivalent
• Preferred Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with 6 months of driving experience
• Dedication to safety and compliance
