Qualifications

University degree preferred; in lieu, 5+ years ag experience and high school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years’ experience using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel.
Sales experience preferred in seed, chemical and fertilizer.

Responsibilities

Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase sales and meet goals.
Ensure customer satisfaction with on-time delivery and product quality.
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe actions to resolve issues.
Perform initial credit review of customers and assist Credit Manager with limits.
Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
