Job summary

You will handle underwriting tasks for crop insurance, interact with agents and insureds, and ensure policy accuracy and compliance. The role offers growth opportunities and requires 5+ years in crop insurance or underwriting, plus strong communication and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of crop insurance or crop underwriting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Research and organization skills with customer service focus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience advising and coordinating with agents, insureds and adjusters.

Responsibilities

• Accepting, modifying or canceling crop insurance policies for new and renewal applications per RMA, regulatory and company procedures.
• Entering forms and reports (Application/Change, Production, Acreage, Quality Control, Claims).
• Handling policy transfer requests and auditing policy information.
• Performing premium estimates and answering policy questions for agents, insureds and adjusters.
• Training agents on crop insurance and reviewing related marketing materials.
