• Collect, track, and manage policy documents while ensuring timely submission and processing within internal systems and Approved Insurance Provider platforms.
• Underwrite MPCI and private product policies by validating applications, reviewing supporting documentation, and confirming compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Serve as a resource to agents and regional office staff by addressing documentation questions, resolving processing issues, and coordinating communication with Approved Insurance Providers.
• Support operational excellence by maintaining accurate information within CRM and document management systems.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, special projects, and training efforts that increase efficiency and strengthen service delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity while delivering accurate, responsive, and member-focused support throughout the policy lifecycle.

The Role

The Crop Insurance Service Specialist processes and services Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI), Crop Hail (CH) and Private Product insurance policies. This position will provide accurate and efficient service to Farm Credit Illinois agents and their members through technical policy support, exceptional internal processing, and collaborative teamwork.
