Northern Ag, a division of Border Bank, seeks a motivated Crop Insurance Agent/Commodity Broker to build client relationships, develop market expertise, and grow a rewarding career in agriculture in Roseau, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will license Minnesota insurance and Series 3, manage a personal crop insurance portfolio, support existing clients, and expand a commodity marketing client base.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a Minnesota insurance license by passing the MN agent licensing exam and Series 3 exam to become a licensed AP (broker) within the first 12 months (licensing fees paid).
• Build and manage a personal crop insurance client portfolio.
• Support and service existing crop insurance customers.
• Develop and expand a commodity marketing client base.
• Assist current marketing clients with risk management and marketing needs.
• Prepare and distribute weekly analytical market assessments for clients.
• Support local advertising and promotional campaigns.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
