Job summary

Phase2 Technology is seeking an Applicator and Mechanic in the United States to operate commercial sprayers and manage vehicle maintenance, with responsibilities spanning blending, loading, and delivery of crop inputs.

The role requires a high school diploma, 5 years' experience, and valid CDL with Hazmat/tanker endorsements; you will perform pre-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of related work experience.
• Skills in fabrication, cutting, welding, bearing replacement, engine service/maintenance, automotive electrical, brake adjustment/repair, and hydraulic troubleshooting/repair.
• Must obtain and maintain a CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements; pesticide/fertilizer applicator licenses as required by states of operation.
• Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.
• Compliance with OSHA/DOT policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Applies crop production inputs to fields according to recommended rates and labels.
• Records application data according to regulations.
• Sets up and maintains material handling, blending, storage, transport, and application equipment.
• Blends products according to rates and procedures.
• Operates sprayers, floaters, and trucks to meet DOT standards.
• Performs pre-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Loads/unloads containers and ensures proper distribution on trucks.
• Maintains inventory and records; ensures product is accounted for with invoices/delivery tickets.
• Schedules maintenance and repairs; maintains spare parts inventory.
• Maintains service records to meet DOT requirements; housekeeping of the shop.
• Supports location equipment, vehicles, and structures; collect soil sample information.
• Follows Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.
