Job summary

COUNTRY Financial in Charleston, IL is seeking a Crop Claims Representative 2-Crop to investigate crop claims, determine policy coverage, and negotiate settlements. The role requires inspecting crops, evaluating damages, and preparing written estimates in line with policy provisions.

You will initiate contact with insureds and relevant parties to collect information and guide them through the claims process.

Qualifications

• Investigates crop claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned claims.
• Investigates and completes physical inspections of crop claims, evaluates damages, and prepares written estimates according to policy provisions.
• Initiates first and subsequent contact with insureds and all relevant parties to gather basic information and explain overall claims process.
