Description
CRNP provides comprehensive neurologic care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings as part of a collaborative neurology team.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Three (3) days per week in the outpatient neurology clinic
- Two (2) days per week providing inpatient neurology services
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of neurological disorders in the outpatient clinic.
- Provide inpatient neurology consultations and follow-up care for hospitalized patients.
- Perform comprehensive neurological assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies and neuroimaging, in collaboration with the supervising neurologist.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation services, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions, treatment options, medications, and disease management.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
This position offers a balanced practice with continuity of care through outpatient clinic management and acute inpatient neurological consultation, providing a diverse and rewarding clinical experience.
Provides patient care services, including assessing and managing patients in the outpatient and/or inpatient environment, by following established standards and practices within the practice specific specialty.

Registration/Certification/Licensure
Current PA RN and CRNP licenses, ACLS, and Act 33/73 clearances. Individual must meet the credentialing requirements of the Medical Staff Office.
